Howells – Requiem

General note: Cutoffs happen on rests, not on notes, unless otherwise  
indicated. If a half note is tied to an eighth note, followed by a  
rest, the cutoff will be on the rest.

Movement I

SA: Bar 5 – Insert a quarter rest after the first note
SA: Bar 7 – Lift after the first note
T: Bar 7 – Insert a quarter rest after the first note
SAT: Bar 14 – Insert an eighth rest after the first note
B: Bar 14 – Lift after the first note
AT: Bar 15 – Insert an eighth rest before the last note
B: Bar 16 – Insert a quarter rest after the first note
SAT: Bar 17 – Put your “s” right on your rest
B2: Bar 18 – Align the word “us” to come at the same time as the tenors
ALL: Bar 21 – Lift at the end of the bar
T1: Bar 22 – Insert an eighth rest at the end of the bar
S1/A1: Bar 23 – Insert an eighth rest after “help”
B1: Bar 23 – Insert an eighth rest at the end of the bar
Choir 2: Bar 24 – Cut off on the rest, but do not say the “s” sound
Choir 1: Bar 26 – Put the “s” on the rest
S2/A2: Bar 27 – Insert an eighth rest after the first note
