Christmas: From Chant To Carol
This exciting Master Singers performance begins with early chants from John Dunstable and Tomás Luis de Victoria. Following the 15th and 16th-century compositions, the ensemble performs pieces influenced by such chants, including “Quatre Motets” by Maurice Duruflé, two works by Arvo Pärt and Morten Lauridsen’s unforgettable “O Magnum Mysterium.” The concert concludes with breathtaking arrangements of traditional favorites such as “Coventry Carol,” “We Three Kings,” “Let All Mortal Flesh,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” and “Silent Night.”
